Welcome to Hooked on Cycling holidays and our cycling holidays in Switzerland. This bike vacation in Switzerland is available as a self guided bike tour. This cycle tour in Switzerland has been graded as a level 2 independent tour. You will follow the River Rhone through three very different formations of Swiss countryside. At the beginning in Goms an Alpine route character is all around you as you roll downhill. Then from Brig the Rhone-valley widens into sun-spoiled Wallis. Again different scenery at Villeneuve where the wide mirror of Lake Geneva on the one side and vineyards with famous wines on the other side accompany you on your way to Geneva. The Rhone-Route unites varied scenery with cultural highlights. The rather flat route is ideally suited for beginners. You could also call this holiday the Swiss Wine Route, as it passes through some of the best wine growing areas in Switzerland.
