Our cycling holidays in Spain are in four main regions , one region in Northern Spain around Santander and Picos de Europa mountains and the nearby coastline , another  in wonderful Andalusia ( Andalucia ) at the southern most tip of Europe , the third in Catalonia ( Catalunya ) and the forth in the Balearic Island of Majorca ( Mallorca ). Our cycling holidays in Spain are ideal for all abilities. Catalonia , Northern Spain and Majorca being ideal for first time cycle tourists and also experienced cyclists but our tour in Andalusia is only ideal for experienced cyclists.
Andalusia Cycle and Culture 7 night level 2-3 tour
A 7 night level explorer self guided cycle tour. Your start location is Alhama de Granada an ancient Moorish settlement situated half way between Granada and Malaga in the Poniente Granadino region of Granada. Surrounded by picturesque mountains and lakes, and built on the edge of a huge gorge, Alhama has many traditional bars and restaurants and is the perfect base to start your cycling holiday. Your circular tour will take you to Granada and a chance to visit the Alhambra Palace, along with many wonderful rural Spanish towns and villages

In t he distance you see wonderful hills and some more mountainous terrain, you cycle past the coastal ranges of El Cuera and El Sueve in the shadow of the impressive snowy peaks of the Picos de Europa. Passing tiny coves and charming coastal villages, you ride from Cantabria into Asturias. Some of your routes follow sections of the Pilgrims’ Route to Santiago de Compostela (Saint James’ Way) so you will find ruins and Romanesque chapels along the way. The cider-making capital of Villaviciosa makes a good introduction to Asturian gastronomy before sending you off to the friendly city of Gijon for a tapas feast to celebrate the end of a satisfying journey.
Castles of Andalusia - 7 night level 3 cycle tour
We have designed this cycling holiday for the more experienced cyclist and we have racing cycles to rent. Our cycling tour of some of the Moorish castles of ‘Al-Andalus’ begins in Alhama de Granada. Part of the Moorish kingdom ruled from the 7th to the 14th century. We shall the loop north to Montefrio , Priego de Cordoba, Iznajar before making our way back to Alhama de Granada. It is really an epic journey through time , on superb roads and wonderful scenery.
White Villages of Andalusia - 6 night Or 9 night level 2-3 tour
Setting out from Granada and following a constant southwesterly direction you will ride through various mountainous regions, crossing age-old passes. These are the mountains of Almijara, Antequera, Líbar, Alcornocales, and finally Cabrito. You will finish in the romantic town of Ronda (7 days option), or in the wind capital of Spain: Tarifa (10 days option), with the mighty Atlantic Ocean at your feet.

This cycle tour has been designed for club or the more serious cyclist wishing to ride road race bikes over distances of around 63 miles or 100km per day. It is fixed base staying in the very traditional La Seguiriya hotel on the edge of the gorge of Alhama de Granada, Andalucia. All four rides are on good tarmac roads with fabulous scenery.
