Welcome to Hooked on Cycling Holidays and our cycling holiday in Umbria. This biking vacation is available as a level 2-3 self guided cycle tour. In this unspoiled part of Umbria there’s an almost spiritual, timeless atmosphere. Small churches, hermitages and chapels mark the ancient pilgrim routes. Summers are long and the mountain air is clean and crisp. Not only the landscape is worthwhile enjoying, on this tour you will find time to taste the traditional Umbrian food, specially flavoured with the ‘tartufo nero’ that is found in the hills of the Valnerina and of course the excellent red Montefalco wines. We have designed this tour to provide a short day and a longer cycle option , the region is pretty hilly so all days will have a degree of climbing involved but you will be rewarded with wonderful views.
Available any day April to October Level 3 self guided tour
