Holland is a great country to take your biking vacation, there is a big network of cycle ways, often away from the main traffic, it is a mainly flat region and when you do need to cycle with other motor vehicles the drivers are extremely careful and bike friendly. Maybe Holland is the ultimate cycling holiday location. We have developed two main cycle tours in the Netherlands each that little bit different in the scenery and historic nature. You will notice from the daily schedules that we have on both tours the concept of 1 days cycling and 1-day optional cycle or other activity, this makes the tours suitable for those who maybe do not wish to cycle each day.

This part of the Netherlands is characterized by its world-famous tulip fields, which display all colors of the rainbow. Cycling through these fields is a unique experience, especially when you realize you are cycling below sea level! Picturesque fishing villages are also to found in this area as well as Holland’s capital, Amsterdam. It is probably impossible to book a tour that is more Dutch than this. Traditional Dutch polder-landscape, seashore & dunes, dykes, mills, cheese and tulips: you can experience it in this wonderful cycle-tour.

Level 1-2 cycling holiday in Holland: a 7 night self guided cycle tour.
This particular biking vacation in Holland will take you through the fabulous Eastern Holland countryside. The northeastern part of the Holland is definitively one of the best places to make a beautiful cycle tour. Heath, forests and age-old villages  dominate it. You will follow more than 75 percent of your time on narrow and flat cycle paths, where cars are forbidden to drive, this tour is very well suitable for families with children. Most of the routes are easy to shorten. A large part of the tour is in the province of Drenthe, which is world-famous for its many ‘hunebedden’ (dolmen). In many places, you will see these impressive burial-mounds in the countryside. On the free days, there is always something special to do for young children if you do not wish to take the full optional cycle rides. This is a great family cycling holiday, adults and children a like.
