Welcome to Hooked on Cycling Holidays and our Cycling Holidays in Germany. We have two fabulous biking vacations in Germany and one cross border tour. Our available cycling holidays are down the River Moselle cycle way from Metz to Koblenz and beautiful excursion through Germany's wine region with the chance to also visit the country of Luxenburg. Our second cycling tour is in the beautiful Bavarian countryside on a circular loop around the stunning Bavarian lakes in that area. Our third cycle tour is a cross border tour from Prague in the Czech Republic to Dresden in Germany.
Bavarian Lakes
This wonderful biking vacation around the Bavarian Lakes is available as a seven night self guided cycle tour. You will cycle on beautiful cycle paths or quiet minor roads, a few main roads, short stages which are mostly asphalted, some parts also on very good gravel roads. On this cycling tour it will be pure joy , tranquil secluded valleys, alongside lakes with pure fresh water or along the stunning turquoise waters of the young and still untouched River Isar. Enjoy the marvelous views of the majestic Karwendel Alps and stroll through picturesque old towns, richly decorated with flowers and carefully restored old wooden houses. You will experience what is true Bavarian quite a unique way of life with its relaxed , friendly way and culture full of traditions.
River Moselle Cycle way
This cycling holiday is along the River Moselle cycle way. The vineyard lined Moselle Valley provides a uniquely inviting setting for a fabulous cycle tour. You will trace your way along the meandering bends and curves while learning about its rich and varied history. Of course you can also try the rich fruity Moselle wines to see if they live up to there reputation. When you reach each destination or during the days ride walk around the ancient narrow lanes and splendid avenues of the river’s charming villages and historic cities.
Prague to Dresden 
This biking vacation is a superb two country tour from the ever popular Prague to Dresden through beautiful scenery. This cycle tour is a great tour through Czech to Germany, two cities with long histories, symbol of a glorious and often difficult past, and to enjoy outstanding natural beauty. Prague , the Golden City, is a centre of pulsating urban life, full of historic monuments. On the cycle path along the rivers Moldau (Vltava) and Elbe passing through lovingly renovated little villages and idyllic river landscapes. Near Bad Schandau you pass the frontier to Germany. Through “Saxon Switzerland” and the interesting formations of Elbe sandstone massive you enter Dresden now restored to former glory with Zwinger and Frauenkirche
