Our cycling holidays in France are located in the well known regions of the Dordogne and Lot Valleys, Loire Valley , Loir Valley, Provence , Drome Provencal, Alsace, Gironde ,Corsica and Burgundy. Below you will find a brief summary of each of our cycling holidays in these regions.
Castles of the Loire Valley with its grand Castles and Chateaux - 7  Night independent tour covering 30-40 miles per day, a level 1-2 cycle tour. Starting in near Blois and completing a circular loop passing many of the great Castles and Chateaux of the region.
Cycling Holiday in the Loire Valley
A 5 or 7 nights self guided level 1-2 tour. You will visit the great Chateaux at Blois , Chennonceau ,Cheverny, Amboise ,Chambord, Villandry,Azay Le Rideau, Chinon, Saumur to name a few but there are even more treasures than these to see. This tour differs from our Castles of the Loire Valley in that you move to a new hotel each day and that you cover a longer distance of the Loire Valley to the west and east of tours.
Dordogne Ancient Villages and Castles
A 7 night Independent level 2-3 tour covering around 50 exploring the famous sites of the Dordogne Valley. You will visit Roccamadour , La Roque Gageac, Sarlat , Domme , Les Eyzies and much more. During this tour you will experience many wonderful views of sandstone houses and even towns clinging to cliff faces over looking these famous Rivers.
Dordogne and Lot Valley cycle tour
A 7 night self guided level 2-3 cycle tour. Think of historic m edieval villages, fortified towns, dream like scenery and quiet country lanes with little traffic and you have this tour, our Dordogne-Lot Dream cycling holiday. Starting on the Dordogne you will head east upstream to Carannac and Beaulieau sur Dordogne said by many as the most beautiful village on the Dordogne. The you cycle south across the limestone plateau to the Lot and Cele valleys where you experience the medieval town to St Cirq Pa Popie. Lastly heading west you shall complete your tour by arriving in Gourdon with its stunning hilltop church.

Chateaux Life
This biking vacation in France is a 6 night self guided level 2 cycling tour through the Loir valley. The Loir Valley the lesser known ‘sister’ of its famous neighbour the Loire Valley but you will be surprised how beautiful and how many ancient castles and Chateaux there still is to see , and since it is not so well known then this simply means that everywhere is less busy making it a glorious cycling region for your cycling holiday. The Loir châteaux are certainly worth getting to know better. Built or modified between the end of the Middle Ages and the 18th century, they formed the setting for numerous historical events. They were designed in a setting of parks and gardens which have nothing to envy their more famous counterparts.
Vineyards of Gironde This cycling holiday in Gironde, a region in the south west of France close to Bordeaux. This 7 night biking vacation in France is an independent level 1-2 cycling tour across the Gironde region in France and its various richenesses. This cycle tour will take you through the area starting by the Entre deux Mers vineyards, going on by the pine forest of the Gascogne Regional Park and reaching the Arcachon bay and the ocean. You will take cycling tracks as well as small roads, quite flat and will enjoy the evening in charming hotels and guesthouses.

Everyday loop rides from Beaune will allow you to explore the entire region at your own pace whether it’s the discovery of culture, nature or human heritage. This is also the Rhone wine producing region and Sept ember is a hive of activity as the grape harvest takes place. In the area, towns and villages are rocked by the melody of fountains, proud of their feudal towers, châteaux, bell towers which are anchored in the centuries of historic traditions.

This 7 night self guided cycle tour through the northern landscapes we have graded a level 3 tour although a fitter beginner would be OK on the tour as each day we have multiple optional rides of various distances.
