Welcome to Hooked on Cycling and our cycling holiday in the Provence region of France. This biking vacation in Provence takes you through some fabulous wine regions allowing you ample time to sample the delights. The self guided cycle tour is an easy tour we have graded as a level 1-2 tour and is therefore suitable for a first time cycle tour or relaxed tour in the sunshine. The general direction of the biking vacation is from Avignon through the foothills of Mont Ventoux to the Dentelles de Montmirail, of course wine tasting along the way. Far from the crowds, come and discover the natural wonders of la Provence: olive groves, fruit trees and wine! During your stay you’ll go from the beauty and history of Carpentras, the capital of the Comtat Venaissin into the heart of the Dentelles de Montmirail with its small villages and its world-famous Côtes-du-Rhône wines Gigondas, Vacqueyras, Beaumes de Venise, Séguret.
